Kalani Consulting, Inc. is committed to serving our community and supporting the growth and education of our youth. Our employees find many ways to serve their localities.
![]() We deeply thank one of our own, Kayla, as well as we thank her family, and the other volunteers who made the trek to North Carolina to help “Ms. Joyce” save her home from the ravages of Hurricane Helene. The entire crew took the interior of the house down to the studs to save it from the effects of mold and moisture. Ms. Joyce lost everything, outside of the skeleton of her home, to the hurricane, yet maintained her courage and gratefulness to all who showed up to save her house. | ![]() In Hilo, Hawaii KCI’s President, Duane Nathaniel, was a major sponsor responsible for sending students from the St. Joseph School in Hilo, Hawaii to “The Future Leaders of Hawaii: The Native Hawaiian Convention 2024.” The three-day convention featured discussions and workshops on preserving the Hawaiian culture, housing, fashion, tourism, education, and self-determination. | ![]() In keeping with Kalani Consulting’s commitment to the growth and education of our youth, KCI’s President, Duane Nathaniel, sponsored an essay contest at the St. Joseph School in Hilo, Hawaiʻi. |

A big thank you to those who attended the JDRF walk at the National Mall and to those of you who walked at home! | ![]() KCI raised a total of $4,000 to support those affected by the Maui wildfires. Sincere appreciation to all who donated and a special thanks to KCI’s President, Duane Nathaniel, for his matching donations. ![]() Kalani employee, Nicole, has joined a Kupuna Hui Alliance. Keaukaha General Store in Hilo, Hawaii has donated hundreds of items to create Kupuna care-packages and has created a group called the Kupuna Hui Alliance. Care packages consisting of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, granola bars and other such item s are given to our Kupuna in need or at risk. Packages are delivered by drivers/delivery volunteers in a contact-free way. | ![]() KCI employees participated in the National Day of Service sponsored by the National Cemetery Administration. This volunteer event recognized the 20th Commemoration of September 11 through public service at VA National Cemeteries. | ![]() Employees, Shawna and Kirby, are giving back to their community by delivering fresh fruits, prepared meals, and flowers and checking in with local kupuna (elders). They organized an outdoor, socially-distant concert with provided hand sanitizer and masks. |
