KCI employees participated in the National Day of Service sponsored by the National Cemetery Administration. This volunteer event recognized the 20th Commemoration of September 11 through public service at VA National Cemeteries. | Shawna Daniels and Kirby Greenwell are giving back to their community by delivering fresh fruits, prepared meals, and flowers and checking in with local kupuna (elders). They organized an outdoor, socially-distant concert with provided hand sanitizer and masks. | Kirby Greenwell donated fruits and flowers to an elderly housing facility. She is helping to Mālama (take care of) and keep Kupuna (Elders) healthy and happy during the COVID-19 stay at home order. |

Nicole Penfield has joined a Kupuna Hui Alliance. Keaukaha General Store in Hilo, Hawaii has donated hundreds of items to create Kupuna care-packages and has created a group called the Kupuna Hui Alliance. Care packages consisting of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, granola bars and other such item s are given to our Kupuna in need or at risk. Packages are delivered by drivers/delivery volunteers in a contact-free way. | Kalani Consulting donates to Waimea Outdoor Circle for Waimea's Ulu La'au Nature Park. |
